Aude has 43 listed campsites, with fairly balanced offering between sea bank (18 establishments), river bank (13), lake bank (8) and pond (3). This Occitan department combines Mediterranean coast with mountainous hinterland, between Corbières and Pyrenean Aude.
On the coast, sea-bank campsites benefit from Aude's shoreline, around Narbonne-Plage and Gruissan, as well as coastal ponds sometimes lining the shore. Inland, river-bank campsites follow Aude's course, while rarer mountain lakes complete the offering towards the Pyrenees.
