Canet-en-Roussillon, in the Pyrénées-Orientales department (Occitanie), is the main seaside resort on the Roussillon coast, between Perpignan and the Spanish border. Of the four campsites listed, all benefit from the sea, and one also runs along a waterway that crosses the town towards the Mediterranean.
Canet's coastline alternates between a long sandy beach to the north and one of the largest marinas on the Catalan coast to the south, around the mouth of the Têt. The Pyrenees, visible on clear days, close off the landscape towards the interior.

Canet beach, long and straight, stretches north as far as Sainte-Marie-la-Mer, while the open view of the Canigou massif, an iconic mountain of French Catalonia, accompanies coastal walks on clear days.
