The Basque Country, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department, in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, refers here to a whole stretch of the French Atlantic coast, from the Spanish border to the edge of Bayonne. Unsurprisingly, almost all the campsites listed in this area benefit from direct sea access, the ocean being the central element of coastal Basque identity.
