Camping An Trest is located at 1 chemin du Treste in Sarzeau, on the Rhuys peninsula south of the Gulf of Morbihan. Its setting is exceptional: 900 metres from the sea, facing the magnificent islands of Belle-Île-en-Mer, Houat and Hoedic, which stand out on the horizon on clear days. The 5-star estate spreads over a carefully landscaped park, with shaded, clearly marked pitches to preserve everyone’s privacy. Accommodation ranges from contemporary mobile homes to more spacious versions for large families. The immediate proximity of a cycle path leading straight to the sea is one of the campsite’s strong points: reach the sand by bike in a few minutes, without needing to get back in the car. The Rhuys peninsula, an unspoilt part of the Morbihan, unfolds its wild landscapes, coastal moorland and typically Breton villages. Restaurant, bar and Breton services

Dining on site includes both an à la carte restaurant and a snack bar, both open throughout the campsite’s season. The restaurant showcases Breton flavours — full-size galettes, seafood, fresh fish, far Breton cake and kouign-amann — in a friendly atmosphere with a terrace. The snack bar, quicker to grab a bite, offers pizzas, platters and ice cream for tasty breaks after the beach or a swim. The outdoor terrace is especially popular at the end of the day. As for entertainment, the Capfun team runs peak season with its Clapou clubs for 4-6 year-olds, Politicator for 7-10 year-olds, Nobodys for teenagers, as well as pool wake-up sessions, sports tournaments and themed evenings, while respecting the campsite’s calm, family-friendly spirit. Practical services include a small grocery shop, daily bread delivery, a laundrette, Wi-Fi in the communal areas and bike hire to reach the beaches and explore the Rhuys peninsula.

An Trest’s location opens up a wonderfully rich playground. The beach, reachable by bike in a few minutes along the cycle path, unfolds its sand facing the islands. Belle-Île-en-Mer, Houat and Hoedic can be reached by boat from the harbour at Quiberon or Vannes for a day of island escape. The Gulf of Morbihan, rated among the most beautiful bays in the world, offers boat trips around its 40 islands, including Île aux Moines and Île d’Arz. Vannes, the capital of Morbihan, reveals its historic centre, its ramparts and its harbour, 30 minutes away. Carnac and its famous megaliths — the largest megalithic site in the world — can be discovered in 30 minutes. The Quiberon peninsula, with its beaches and wild coastline, is a short distance away. Sailing enthusiasts will find sailing schools, paddleboarding, kayaking and boat trips all along the coast. On site at the campsite, a multi-sports pitch, pétanque and table tennis tables keep sports fans busy every day. Heritage lovers should visit the Château de Suscinio in Sarzeau.
