
Camping la Hallerais, a 4-star campsite on the banks of the Rance
Located in Taden, on the doorstep of Dinan in the Côtes-d’Armor, Camping la Hallerais occupies tree-lined grounds of around 7 hectares on the banks of the Rance. A member of the Flower Campings network, this 4-star campsite is open from 14 March to 1 November 2026 and holds a rating of 4.6/5 on Google (782 reviews).
The accommodation range covers every need: Prestige villas with heated private pool or jacuzzi, Premium mobile homes with covered terrace, the Confort and Standard ranges, chalets, Nature lodge tents, as well as spacious pitches of around 100 m² for tents, caravans and motorhomes, with 10A electrical hookup. From the campsite, the towpath follows the Rance to Dinan and its harbour. The Côte d’Émeraude is around twenty minutes away: Saint-Malo, Dinard, Cancale and Mont-Saint-Michel (under an hour) complete an exceptional area to explore between river and sea.

The La Rance Guinguette snack bar serves pizzas, burgers, crêpes and mussels-and-chips evenings on the terrace, in a friendly waterside atmosphere. The campsite’s grocery shop stocks fresh bread and pastries every day, as well as everyday essentials.
On the practical side, a full laundrette (washing machines, tumble dryers, tokens on sale at reception) makes longer stays easier. Wi-Fi zones are available around the campsite, a baby kit can be rented at reception, and a motorhome service point is available. The campsite has wheelchair access with adapted accommodation, accepts pets (under conditions) and ANCV holiday vouchers. Awarded the Home Vélo label, it also offers bike hire, including electric bikes, for heading out on the towpath.
Activities at Camping la Hallerais, between the Rance and Dinan
Its location on the banks of the Rance makes the campsite an ideal starting point for outdoor activities: walks or bike rides along the towpath to Dinan’s harbour, bike hire on site and canoe-kayak hire 2km away to paddle down the river. Water sports on the Côte d’Émeraude are around 25km away, as are the other waterside camping destinations in Brittany.
On the grounds, young and old alike enjoy the tennis court, the multi-sports pitch, the table tennis tables, the mini-golf, the games room, the fitness room and the mini-farm with its llamas. In season, the campsite organises entertainment for the whole family, with a schedule of concerts and shows, and themed evenings at the Guinguette.
