A 5-star campsite 100 metres from Longchamp beach
Camping Longchamp is located at 773 boulevard de Saint-Cast in Saint-Lunaire, on the Emerald Coast. Its setting is exceptional: just 100 metres from Longchamp beach, the town’s largest beach, stretching almost a kilometre of fine sand facing the islands of Cézembre and Ébihens. The 5-star estate spans a carefully landscaped park with shaded, well-defined pitches to preserve everyone’s privacy. Accommodation ranges from contemporary mobile homes to more spacious versions for large families, in a layout designed for lovers of the Breton coast. The immediate proximity of the GR34, the famous customs officers’ path that runs along the entire Breton coastline, is one of the campsite’s strong selling points. Open for a particularly extended season, from 3 April to 1 November 2026, the establishment holds a remarkable rating of 9.3/10 across more than 2,500 customer surveys, a mark of exceptional hospitality quality popular with regulars.
Restaurant, bar and services on the Emerald Coast
Catering on site is comprehensive: an à la carte restaurant showcases Breton flavours, full-course galettes, seafood, fresh fish, far breton and kouign-amann, complemented by a bar-snack bar for quick service with pizzas, platters and ice cream. Both establishments are open during the campsite’s extended season, from 3 April to 1 November 2026, allowing you to enjoy the mild shoulder seasons too. The outdoor terrace overlooking the park is especially popular at the end of the day, when the sunset over the sea offers an exceptional spectacle. On the entertainment side, the Capfun team runs high season with its Clapou clubs for 4-6 year-olds, Politicator for 7-10 year-olds, Nobodys for teens, as well as water wake-ups, sports tournaments and themed evenings. Practical services include a convenience store, a daily bread delivery service, a launderette, wifi in communal areas and bike hire for reaching Saint-Malo and Dinard.
GR34, Cap Fréhel, Saint-Malo and Mont-Saint-Michel
Camping Longchamp’s location opens up a rarely rich playground. Longchamp beach, 100 metres away, welcomes swimming, beach games, and offers a spectacular sunset at the end of the day, one of the great pleasures cited by regulars. The GR34, directly accessible from the campsite, allows you to follow the coastline on foot as far as the Décollé and Meinga headlands and beyond. The Emerald Coast unfurls its gems within a short distance: Cap Fréhel and its lighthouse, the spectacular Fort-la-Latte, Saint-Malo the corsair city and its ramparts, Saint-Briac-sur-Mer and its harbour, the village of Saint-Suliac ranked among the most beautiful villages in France. Dinan, a town of art and history, reveals its medieval streets and its harbour on the Rance, 30 minutes away. Mont-Saint-Michel, 60 km away, is the trip’s absolute must-see. Sailing enthusiasts will find sailing schools, paddleboarding and boat trips to the islands nearby. On the campsite, a multisports pitch, pétanque and table tennis tables keep sports fans busy every day.
