Restaurant, festive atmosphere and practical services

Catering on site is organised around an à la carte restaurant that showcases South-West and Basque flavours, plancha grills, piperade, chipirones, regional Landes dishes and tapas as a nod to the nearby Spanish border. The restaurant is open during the campsite’s extended season. The outdoor terrace is very popular at the end of the day, in a festive atmosphere typical of the Basque-Landes coast. On the entertainment side, the Capfun team runs a packed programme in high season: Clapou clubs for 4-6 year-olds, Politicator for 7-10 year-olds, Nobodys for teens, as well as the classic water wake-ups, sports tournaments and themed evenings. Spanish evenings, particularly popular with international guests, are highlights of the stay. A convenience store and a daily bread delivery service are available, complemented by a launderette, wifi in communal areas and bike hire. The shops in Labenne-Océan are within a few minutes’ walk.

The Vélodyssée, Hossegor and the Basque Country

Boudigau’s key asset lies in its dual belonging: you can enjoy both the Landes and the Basque Country without constraint. The gently sloping paths in the area make family outings easy. Labenne-Océan beach, 800 metres away, welcomes surfers and families seeking fine sand. Hossegor and its sea lake, famous for surfing, is 15 minutes away. For the Basque Country, Saint-Jean-de-Luz and its picturesque harbour are 30 minutes away, Biarritz and its Rocher de la Vierge 25 minutes, and Bayonne with its famous August festivities 20 minutes. The typical villages of Espelette, Ascain and Sare can be discovered in under an hour. Spain, 40 minutes away, is within reach for a trip to San Sebastián. On the campsite, a multisports pitch, pétanque and table tennis tables keep sports fans busy every day.
