Everything about the campsites by the water in Le Touquet

Le Touquet-Paris-Plage, in the Pas-de-Calais department, is an elegant seaside resort on the Côte d'Opale, in Hauts-de-France. The six campsites listed are mostly facing the sea, with one establishment linked to a river, in keeping with the town's position at the mouth of the Canche, the river that borders the town to the south.

Camping in Le Touquet makes it possible to enjoy a large fine sandy beach ideal for board sports such as land-sailing, while staying close to a state-owned forest that covers a good part of the town's land. The town has kept, from its golden age in the early twentieth century, an architecture of villas that contrasts with more recently built resorts on the neighbouring coast.

to discover

What to see and do in Le Touquet

Le Touquet is known for its large wind-exposed sandy beaches, historically the favourite terrain for land-sailing, a discipline born precisely on this coastline in the early twentieth century. Le Touquet's state-owned forest, planted with pines to hold back the dunes, offers kilometres of shaded trails just steps from the seafront.

The mouth of the Canche, south of the town, forms an unspoilt estuary where migratory birds mix with marshland scenery, very different from the urban atmosphere of the town centre and its Belle Époque villas. The golf courses and smart shops of the centre round out the image of a resort that long attracted a well-off British and Parisian clientele.

our method

How we select every campsite

1

A verified criterion, not a promise

Every by the water campsite is checked against its official listing and real photos, not a marketing pitch.

2

Reputation, backed by reviews

We cross-check public Google ratings and reviews. An establishment below family standards doesn't make the selection.

3

Direct booking, transparent pricing

You book directly with the campsite, no middleman or hidden markup. The price shown is the price you pay.
