A 5-star campsite facing the Anse Saint-Laurent
Camping Saint-Laurent is located at 9 route de Saint-Laurent Kerleven in La Forêt-Fouesnant, in southern Finistère. Its distinctiveness lies in its rare, privileged location: direct sea access facing the Anse Saint-Laurent, one of the most beautiful bays in Breton Cornouaille. This right-by-the-water setting makes all the difference and immerses holidaymakers in an authentic maritime world. The 5-star estate spreads over a carefully landscaped park, with shaded, clearly marked pitches to preserve everyone’s privacy, some enjoying a prime orientation towards the cove. Accommodation ranges from contemporary mobile homes to more spacious versions for large families. Laura, who runs the campsite, personally welcomes holidaymakers in a warm, family atmosphere particularly appreciated by regulars. The immediate proximity of the coastal path, directly accessible from the campsite, allows for remarkable walks facing the sea. Open for an extended season from 3 April to 20 September 2026, the establishment holds a rating of 8.7/10 from over 1,800 customer surveys.
Restaurant, bar and the show area’s big top
Dining on site includes both an à la carte restaurant and a snack bar, both open throughout the campsite’s extended season. The restaurant showcases Breton flavours — full-size galettes, seafood, fresh fish, far Breton cake and kouign-amann — in a friendly atmosphere opening onto the terrace facing the cove. The snack bar, quicker to grab a bite, offers pizzas, platters and ice cream for tasty breaks. The great pleasure of regulars: sipping a good Breton cider on a deckchair facing the sea at the end of the day. As for entertainment, the Capfun team runs peak season with its Clapou clubs for 4-6 year-olds, Politicator for 7-10 year-olds, Nobodys for teenagers, and puts on quality shows under the show area’s big top: a distinctive facility that sets the campsite apart and lets children have a blast during themed evenings. Practical services include a grocery shop, daily bread delivery, a laundrette, Wi-Fi and bike hire.
The coastal path, Concarneau and the Glénan archipelago
Camping Saint-Laurent’s location opens up a wonderfully rich playground. The coastal path, directly accessible from the campsite, follows the coastline for miles and reveals beautiful scenery with exceptional views over the bay of La Forêt-Fouesnant. Concarneau, 15 minutes away, reveals its famous fortified Ville Close, its active fishing port and historic centre. Pont-Aven, an art town associated with Paul Gauguin and the Pont-Aven School, is 25 minutes away for lovers of artistic heritage. Quimper, capital of Cornouaille, offers its Saint-Corentin cathedral and earthenware potteries 30 minutes away. Island lovers will find the Glénan archipelago, reachable by boat from Bénodet or Beg-Meil, with its turquoise waters reminiscent of the Caribbean. The Pays Bigouden and its typical villages are 40 minutes away. For children, Brest’s Océanopolis is 1h30 away for a day of marine adventure. On site at the campsite, a multi-sports pitch, pétanque and table tennis tables keep sports fans busy every day.
