The immediate proximity of Le Grau-du-Roi, a lively seaside resort, means everything can be done on foot or by bike. The season is particularly long, from 3 April to 1 November 2026, allowing you to also enjoy the mild shoulder seasons on the Gard coast. Restaurant, bar and seaside services

Dining on site is comprehensive, with both an à la carte restaurant and a snack bar, both open throughout the season from 3 April to 1 November 2026. The restaurant showcases Camargue and Mediterranean flavours: grilled plancha dishes, grilled fish, southern salads and kids’ menus. The snack bar, quicker to grab a bite, offers pizzas, platters and ice cream for tasty breaks after the beach. The outdoor terrace opening onto the park is especially popular at the end of the day. As for entertainment, the Capfun team runs a packed programme in peak season: Clapou clubs for 4-6 year-olds, Politicator for 7-10 year-olds, Nobodys for teenagers, as well as the classic pool wake-up sessions, sports tournaments and evening shows several times a week. Regulars’ tip: booking Wednesday to Wednesday, where possible, avoids the Saturday departure traffic jams. Practical services include a grocery shop, bread delivery, a laundrette, Wi-Fi and bike hire.

A vast beach, Aigues-Mortes and the Petite Camargue

Direct access to the beach at Le Grau-du-Roi is the main selling point of the stay: reach the sand in a few steps, on an expanse that stretches as far as the eye can see and always offers a quiet spot even in the height of summer. Water sports enthusiasts will find paddleboarding, sailing, jet-skiing and sea fishing schools nearby. Le Grau-du-Roi and its picturesque fishing harbour are well worth a visit, with the trawlers returning in the late morning and its seafood restaurants. Aigues-Mortes, ten minutes away, unfolds its medieval ramparts and Tour de Constance in an exceptional setting — a must-see for understanding the history of the Camargue. The Petite Camargue, with its horses, bulls and pink flamingos, is discovered on a 4×4 safari or on horseback from the surrounding manades (bull farms). La Grande-Motte and its distinctive pyramid architecture are fifteen minutes away. On site at the campsite, a multi-sports pitch, pétanque and table tennis tables keep sports fans busy every day.
