Restaurant, bar-snack bar and entertainment at the campsite

Lou Village offers both an à la carte restaurant and a bar-snack bar, both open from 3 April to 27 September 2026 for the entire season. The restaurant plays the southern-French cuisine card with grilled dishes, country salads and seafood. The quicker bar-snack bar offers pizzas, platters and ice cream, ideal after a day at the beach. An outdoor terrace extends the dining room during the long summer evenings. On the entertainment side, the Capfun programme rolls out its Clapou and Politicator clubs for children, the Nobodys club for teens, water wake-ups and a packed evening programme mixing shows, dance nights and friendly entertainment. The entertainment team stays present throughout high season. A convenience store saves a trip to Valras, and the launderette, bread delivery service and wifi round out the offer. The campsite’s little train runs to Valras-Plage in season for shopping and outings.

Vast beach, Valras and the wine-growing hinterland

Vendres-Plage and its immense stretch of sand are the main draw of the stay: on foot, within a few minutes, you reach the sea for a day of lazing, swimming or shore fishing at low tide. The beach stretches for several kilometres, and it’s easy to find a quiet spot even in midsummer. Valras-Plage, reachable by little train, offers its casinos, its seafront restaurants and its family-friendly seaside atmosphere. Fans of water activities will find paddleboarding, sailing and jet-ski schools nearby, as well as sea fishing. At the campsite, a multi-sport pitch, pétanque and table tennis tables keep sports enthusiasts occupied daily. The hinterland is well worth the effort: Béziers and its Canal du Midi can be discovered in under twenty minutes’ drive, the Pont du Diable and the Gorges de l’Hérault are an hour away, and the vineyards of Languedoc invite tastings at the many estates nearby. To the west, Narbonne, its Fontfroide Abbey and the Aude offer a further first-rate excursion.
