Camping Les Cigales is located at 2290 avenue de l’Océan in Moliets-Plage, an iconic seaside resort in the Landes. Its setting is exceptional: just 300 metres from the beach, in an unspoilt area of the Silver Coast typical of the Landes coastline with its dense pine forests, dunes and immense stretches of sand. The 5-star estate spans the pine forest, with maritime pines filtering the light and creating pleasant coolness even in midsummer. The pitches are carefully defined, alternating between sunny areas and cooler terraces under the foliage. Accommodation ranges from contemporary mobile homes to more spacious versions for large families. The immediate proximity of the famous Moliets golf course, one of the most renowned on the Landes coast, is one of the campsite’s distinguishing assets. Open for a concentrated summer season, from 12 June to 27 September 2026, the campsite favours the fine days of the Landes when the sun shines generously and the ocean waves attract surfers and swimmers from all over Europe.

Bar-snack bar, Landes entertainment and services in the pine forest

Camping Les Cigales offers a bar-snack bar, open during the summer season from 12 June to 27 September 2026, with takeaway pizzas, appetiser platters, ice cream and drinks to enjoy on the terrace in the shade of the pines. There is no restaurant on site, but the proximity of central Moliets-Plage and its eateries largely makes up for this: fish restaurants, beachside brasseries, seafood restaurants and typically Landes eateries are within a short distance, reachable on foot or by bike. On the entertainment side, the Capfun team runs high season with its Clapou clubs for 4-6 year-olds, Politicator for 7-10 year-olds, Nobodys for teens, as well as water wake-ups, sports tournaments and themed evenings. Practical services include a convenience store for everyday shopping, a morning bread delivery, a launderette, wifi in communal areas and bike hire. The shops in Moliets-Plage are within a few minutes’ walk.

Beaches, golf and Landes villages

Les Cigales’s location puts holidaymakers just 300 metres from Moliets beach, one of the most beautiful in the Landes: golden fine sand, ocean waves ideal for surfing, family beaches supervised in high season. Moliets is one of the great surf spots on the Silver Coast, with schools and rentals in the immediate vicinity. The famous Moliets golf course, designed by Robert Trent Jones and considered one of the most beautiful courses in Europe, is right nearby: 27 holes nestled in the pine forest, accessible for green fees to enthusiasts. The Vélodyssée, an immense cycle path running along the Landes coast, opens up kilometres of family bike rides. On the heritage side, Capbreton and its fishing harbour, Hossegor and its sea lake, and the Courant d’Huchet, a classified river estuary, are well worth the effort. For the more adventurous, the Dune du Pyla and the Arcachon bay are an hour away. On the campsite, a multisports pitch, pétanque and table tennis tables keep sports fans busy every day.
