Dining on site is centred around a genuine bar-restaurant area combining à la carte cuisine and quick service. The restaurant showcases Vendée flavours with its grilled dishes, seafood dishes and kids’ menus, in a friendly atmosphere with a terrace. The snack bar offers pizzas, sharing platters, ice cream and drinks for tasty breaks after the beach or a swim. Both areas are open throughout the campsite’s season, from 10 April to 13 September 2026. As for entertainment, the Capfun team runs peak season with its Clapou clubs for 4-6 year-olds, Politicator for 7-10 year-olds, Nobodys for teenagers, as well as pool wake-up sessions, sports tournaments and themed evenings several times a week. Practical services include a small grocery shop for everyday shopping, morning bread delivery, a laundrette, Wi-Fi in the communal areas and bike hire. The shops of Longeville-sur-Mer are a short distance away.

The Côte de Lumière beaches, marshes and the Puy du Fou

Zagarella’s location, 1.3 km from the sea, puts holidaymakers right next to the Côte de Lumière beaches. Plage des Conches, a vast expanse of sand ideal for surfing, swimming and children’s games, is a few minutes away by bike. Further south, La Tranche-sur-Mer and its five kilometres of fine sand unfold their casinos, beachfront brasseries and cycle paths. The Marais Poitevin, around thirty minutes to the north, offers a refreshing boat excursion through the “Green Venice”. The Puy du Fou, around an hour’s drive away, is an absolute must-do: allow a full day for the Grand Parc and an evening for the Cinéscénie show. On site at the campsite, a multi-sports pitch, pétanque and table tennis tables keep sports fans busy. For children, the aquarium at Les Sables-d’Olonne and the Vendée coast’s adventure parks round out the family offering. Heritage lovers will head to Maillezais and its abbey, or Talmont-Saint-Hilaire and its château.
